This past month, we at Powow AI, have been busy enhancing our command related Natural Language Understanding (NLU). Some of these enhancements were planned and others were a result of feedback from our pilot users at large firms. Powow meeting commands are language detection around commonly used terms in Operations, Technology, and Product management meetings. These are terms like, “risk item”, “action item”, “decisions'' etc. More than four different teams from our Engineering organization along with our XM team partnered with our customers to build these capabilities out. Capturing these items in their contextual framework provides our end customers high quality meeting summaries as well as automated follow up.
From an engineering and product standpoint, our STT (speech to text) team produced improved diarization and punctuation for enhanced, contextual capture. Our NLP/NLU team enhanced our underlying recognition service to capture these new keywords and utterances. Finally, our web application team enhanced our UX to better display commands based on manual utterances vs derived. All these benefits “you”, the end user because Powow captures information directly from your natural language without the need for complex commands.
Be it a Zoom, Microsoft Teams, or Google Meet online meetings, our platform captures commands that you might utter during a meeting (eg “let’s add action item”). Further, we automatically derive actions thus enabling you to focus on the meeting and not on taking notes or worrying about missing a follow up item.
Why not take Powow out on a spin so you never miss a follow on item!
